Featuring music and song from the time period and directed by Deanna Jent, this poignant yet funny drama explores the friendship between Edna who is white and her best friend Bonna who is black; 12 year-olds experiencing puberty, prejudice, rock music and the accelerating civil rights movement on the streets of an ever-changing, blue-collar, urban neighborhood.
